The short version. This app has no accounts and no sign-in. It never asks for your name, email address, postal address or payment details, and it cannot read your files, contacts, photos or location.
Three things do leave your device: the words you type into the search box, sent to eBay so results can be returned; standard advertising and analytics identifiers, sent to Google, because the app shows ads; and a report if the app crashes, also sent to Google, so the fault can be fixed.
Right Price for eBay ("the app") is an Android application published by Nunninator Apps. It helps you judge a fair price for an item by summarising current eBay listings. This policy explains what the app collects, what it sends elsewhere, and why.
What the app collects and shares
Search terms you type
When you run a search, the text you enter is sent to eBay's Browse API to retrieve matching listings. This is the app's core function and cannot be switched off while using search. Search terms are not stored by the app, are not linked to any identity, and are not retained after the results are shown. eBay's handling of these requests is governed by eBay's own privacy notice.
Advertising identifier and ad interactions
The app displays ads through Google AdMob. AdMob collects your device's Android advertising ID, IP address, and interactions with ads, and uses them to select and measure advertising. See Google's advertising privacy information.
You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in Settings → Google → Ads on your device, which also lets you opt out of personalised advertising.
Usage analytics
The app includes Firebase Analytics, which records app events (such as screens opened), device model, operating system version, and an approximate location derived from your IP address, typically at country level. This is used to understand how the app is used and where it breaks. See Google's privacy policy.
Crash reports
The app includes Firebase Crashlytics. If the app crashes or hits a serious error, it sends a report containing the stack trace, your device model, its operating system version, the app version, the time of the crash, and how much memory and storage were free. The report also carries a randomly generated installation identifier, which lets several crashes be recognised as coming from the same installation. That identifier is not your advertising ID, is not linked to any account, and is regenerated if you reinstall the app.
The app does not attach your search terms, or any other content you type, to crash reports. See Firebase Crashlytics data collection.
Settings stored on your device
The app saves your chosen eBay site (for example "eBay UK") and a timestamp used to space out adverts. These are stored in the app's own private storage on your device. They are included in Android's standard cloud backup if you have that enabled, and are removed when you uninstall the app.
What the app does not do
- No account, login or registration
- No name, email address, phone number, postal address or payment details
- No access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or files
- No selling of personal data
- The app itself does no tracking across other apps. Google's advertising SDK may use the standard advertising identifier described above.
Android permissions
The app's own code declares two: INTERNET and
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — internet access, and the ability to check whether a
network connection is available.
Google's advertising and analytics SDKs add a further eight when the app is built. They are not requested by anything this app does, but they are present in the installed package, so they are listed here rather than left for you to find:

None of these grants access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or files.
Security
All communication with eBay and with Google's services uses HTTPS, so it is encrypted in transit.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Your choices and how to delete data
- Advertising ID — reset or delete it in Settings → Google → Ads on your device.
- Analytics and settings — uninstalling the app removes everything it has stored locally.
- Requesting deletion — to ask that any data associated with your device be deleted, email the address below and include your advertising ID.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change with it, and the current version will always be available at the URL published on the app's Google Play listing.
